Our Work
Southern Paws Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue based in Northern New Jersey. We collaborate with fellow rescues to rehome dogs facing euthanasia due to overpopulation. Additionally, we offer education, training, low cost spay and neuter, networking, disaster relief response, and shelter crisis management to support other animal organizations in their rescue endeavors. Our mission is to advocate for the voiceless and offer hope to the hopeless, guided by our motto: "Teamwork makes the Dream work."

Since 2014, our small foster-based rescue has saved more than 5,000 dogs—and helped thousands more through collaboration.

Transports &
Adoptions
Almost all of our dogs are available through our pre-adoption program. This means that our dogs are not currently located in the state of NJ. We work specifically with rescue groups across the United States.

At our cutting edge dog training and education center, we are dedicated to shaping well-rounded companions through innovative techniques and a deep understanding of canine behavior.

Spay-It-Forward
Southern Paws Inc. is proud to be partnering with several Veterinary Hospitals to bring you the Spay It Forward Low Cost Spay & Neuter Voucher Program! Through this program we hope to make spay & neuter more accessible and affordable to the everyday people in our community!
