Our very own Assistant Director, Shannon Rodenberg, wrote a children’s book, telling the story the amazing work she and the Southern Paws team has done with Griffin’s Legacy and the Raising Baby Sharks program!
 
This is book number 1 of 4 and introduces all of the baby sharks we have raised so far!! We are so excited to share it with all of you!
 
Overview
 
Raising Baby Sharks is a heartwarming children's story about Raelynn, a compassionate young girl who fosters hospice puppies. When she meets Griffin, a wobbly little pup with a neurological condition, she discovers that a special shark vest helps him walk-and gives him a new identity as a brave "baby shark." Though Griffin's time is short, Raelynn fills his days with love and adventure. After his passing, four more "baby sharks" come into Raelynn's life, each starting a new tradition and showing that even the shortest lives can leave the deepest pawprints. A touching tale of love, loss, and legacy.
